Life is a game. It’s me versus me.

No one holds me back.

It’s just me – and what I decide.
I caught my first glimpse of it when I went to Japan – alone, away from family and everything familiar. I got to be whoever I wanted to be – and no one would know. And after a year, I’d be gone – and no one could tell me anything.
In Japan, I got this magical opportunity to be who I truly wanted to be. To stop pretending. To stop acting out of fear that someone would tell me off.
I was looking forward to this liberation. But when it came time to act – to be my ideal self – I realized I wasn’t behaving ideally.
Why? No one held me back. I could tell them anything – and they would believe me. So why wasn’t I as confident as I wanted to be?
And then it dawned on me – my limits were self-imposed.
I realized that subconsciously, I’d been blaming other people for not allowing me to be who I truly wanted to be. But who did I want to be? I wanted to be on my purpose. But I didn’t know my purpose. So I set out on a journey to find it.

Finding purpose

I took countless courses, programs, and webinars. Shamanic journeys. Meditations and breathworks. And the more I searched, the more I found. I found everything but my purpose. No matter how hard I tried, it was always out of reach.
I kept on trying, but I felt like I was being played… until I remembered – life is a game. It’s me versus me. And I accepted the one thing I feared the most: life is meaningless, and my life had no purpose. And the only way to get purpose is to give it myself. I have to give meaning to life myself.
I had no purpose because I didn’t make one up. It’s my responsibility to give meaning to life – and create my purpose.
Part of me felt like I’m back to square one. No purpose, and no more clarity than I started with. But that wasn’t true. I realized that my journey has revealed to me to myself and that I could create whatever I want, and whatever I like.

Making purpose

So what did I want?
During all my quests and journeys, one thing that attracted me the most was the state of flow. This beautiful state, when time disappears, and I become one with the action. When there is no worry, no overthinking, just pure serving.
First, I thought that my purpose was just to get in the flow. And I got obsessed with learning flow, understanding flow, and practicing flow in any activity I had on my mind and calendar.
But soon I realized that this didn’t really fulfill me. Luckily, I already had the answer to this problem from one of the many Tony Robbins events I attended while chasing my purpose:
“Key to fulfillment is in growth and contribution.”

I was growing every day, developing my skills, but I wasn’t contributing enough. My next logical step was teaching others to master flow – something I had already become masterful at.

Assuring Fulfillment

I incorporated Flow state into my business. But soon I realized that the Flow state was one of the best-kept secrets out there – nearly no one knew about it in the business world, and even those who knew didn’t know how to practically apply it to their daily life (to their health, wealth, and their relationships).
And soon I find out why it was still a secret. Simply, it sounded too good, and people didn’t believe in it. And when they did believe in the super-human abilities granted by flow, they didn’t believe in themselves – that they could operate in a peak performance state like an Olympic athlete.
Many found it too hard to let go of struggle, hard work, and the fear of burnout. Because those were the strategies that worked to get them where they are right now.
And it took me a while to figure out that my problem wasn’t in convincing people how magical and valuable Flow state was. My problem was convincing myself of my ability to transfer this skill effectively and flawlessly. And I’m endlessly thankful to all those who trusted me when I didn’t trust myself. Your trust is forever appreciated.

Accelerating the process

And soon, I found another challenge. With growth and contribution boxes checked, I had my fulfillment.
Yet there was another level. Now that I know that my goals were guaranteed to succeed, the only variable I had left to play with was time. The game was about accelerating the process.
With something that was destined to succeed, the question now becomes – how do I grow faster than I could ever imagine?
Luckily, I had found the answer to this question as well. Flow state is the state in which learning happens the fastest. Therefore, the growth happens the fastest. And the only thing better than flow state is flow state supported by a like-minded and like-hearted community.
“The lone-wolf maverick is a myth. When it comes to becoming Superman, we really are in this together.” – ‘The Rise of Superman’ by Steven Kotler

And that’s what I’m creating. A community for soulful business owners. Joining to master the flow. Combining science, performance, passion, art, heart, and soul in one community – The Flow Masters.
