Soft Power Rising 17/21 – Recovery Praise

Recovery part of the flow.
As inhale follows exhale,
so does recovery follow go & Flow.

In my yoga practice, this comes very naturally.
If I push myself more,
my body responds in kind
and requires rest the next day
by signaling with sore muscles.

Since I want to practice regularly and sustainably – every single day,
I get to honor my body’s needs and desires.

Same holds true with mental and emotional health.
Furthermore, stress and extreme focus can be tempting and addictive.
And it can be easy to forget to rest.
And it’s your responsibility to remember that to take it easy.
To make it sustainable.
Because we are playing an infinite game.
It’s not a sprint.

So let’s make sure recovery is part of our flow.
